One of our clients is an elderly man, who suffers with Emphysema, and is partially dependent on Oxygen. He is also dependent on a wheelchair for mobility.  His family, with his consent, decided to to take him to Egypt for that holiday of a lifetime!  Regretably, it will be an experience that he will not forget.  There were many issues connected to this family’s holiday, not least of which was being transferred into a hotel which apears not to be suitable or adapted for the needs of the less able. Tonight, in a far off holiday destination, there is one very frightened family!  Why?  Well, they have had the temerity to complain about the failures within their holiday contract, oh, and they and their fellow holidaymakers, are also suffering with holiday illness or sickness.  Their reward?  They have been provided with their own shadows; they are being observed and followed by the hotel security, following the report of their complaints by the tour operators representative, to the hotel management! The BBC reported that the Government has commissioned a study into the ‘alleged’ incidents of fumes on board aircraft.  The Cranfield University will apparently carry out a study over the next 2 years to determine the source and nature of the fume events. Read More
