Repeated norovirus illness on-board cruise ship discovered by UK holidaymakers before departure. They are advised of a 24 hour delay in departure and the UK tour operator fails to provide significant change rights

My husband and I are due to go on our first cruise on [NAME OF CRUISE LINE] [NAME OF SHIP] next week. Yesterday we were informed that departure had been delayed by 24 hours due to an outbreak of Norovirus on board. having done some research I find that the current cruise, which is returning early, is the third consecutive cruise on this ship to have an outbreak. The ship also had outbreaks in October and November. It would seem that despite undergoing deep cleaning to satisfy authorities there is a deeper underlying problem which has not been addressed. We do not feel comfortable with going ahead with the cruise but we can only get a refund if a Doctor says underlying medical conditions put us at increased risk and we do not believe this to be the case. Advice urgently please.
