We booked a holiday with [TOUR OPERATOR] in October 08 departing 19/10/09 for Jamaica. We have been advised by [TOUR OPERATOR] that the hotel is not taking any more bookings due to building works. I have asked for a refund under the terms and conditions quoted in the travel book, but have been told that because they cannot clarify the terminology of the term building wotks, they are refusing to refund our money with loosing the deposit. !6 people have booked. We have waited for months to date and still they cannot clarify the extent of the building works. Can you please advise what the proceedure is as we are looking to baak another holiday, but because our money is being held, we are unable to book, and time is running out, as the week we have book is during half term.
