back in january 2009 we booked a holiday going to gran caneria and paid a deposit of £60 flying out from bristol airport, this flight was cancelled and we were told to go to gatwick which was another 160mls and more expensive for car parking when we asked for a bit of adjustment for travelling we were refused so cancelled the holiday, now the tour operator is refusing to give back our deposit saying we cancelled as an alternative was offered but we found it was not acceptable , we have been in touch with [NAME] tour operator but they still refuse on several occassions please help as we feel it was them who messed up not us
