UK Consumer concerned about major health problems at hotel in Turkey - UK tour operator fails to give full significant change rights

dear sir i have booked a holiday to [LOCATION] turkey on the 20 september going on the 8 octo ber with [NAME OF TOUR OPERATOR] at the time the booking clerk never told me about any health problems there .i have since found out about the numerous illnesses that are occuring at the [NAME OF HOTEL] .ive asked [NAME OF TOUR OPERATOR] to change my resort and they have declined and told me if i cancel i will not recieve any compensation i have to go on the 8th of october and wondered if you could advise me what my rights are or if i have any in this case thank you
