Complete failure of hotel facilities not presented to UK holidaymaker before departure

Is there anything I can do about my nightmare holiday last year? I have found out the it was not ABTA protected – we did not get to the place I had booked, filthy conditions, disgraceful food, no clean linen, no staff spoke english, im a single mum of four this was our last family holiday as my daughter leaves for university this year it was very traumatic!! i have photos and all correspondance from the company [NAME OF ONLINE TOUR OPERATOR] Please help!!
