My husband and I have just returned from a 5 day all inclusive holiday booked through [NAME OF TOUR OPERATOR]. We chose Hotel [NAME] in Majorca for its proximity to beach, shops and restaurant. When we arrived, the hotel told us they had no room and we had to transfer to a “sister hotel” [NAME]. This was further from the beach and a distance from shops and restaurants. Do we have any recourse. It appears that many holidaymakers at [NAME OF HOTEL] were also turned away, so we were not alone by a long chalk, but I am interested in if we have any grounds for complaint/compensation.
