My son and his girlfriend booked a holiday last year with [TOUR OPERATOR] for september this year. They have since found out that the hotel has had a large number of bad reports about it online. They went in to see the travel agent and asked if they could get a transfer to another hotel. They were told they could but would have to pay another deposit. This seems a bit much as they were not cancelling the holiday. My son has just been made redundant and can ill afford to pay for another deposit. The people in [TOUR OPERATOR] were really unhelpful. Is there anything in law to be done about this situation.
